📂 Cornhole
(Welcome to our first published article covering ACL!)
A competitive league that started with an audience of around 20 people has grown to what it is today. ACL, an acronym for American Cornhole League, has officially presented itself in the open sports market, and has happily won us over. What was perceived as an everyday, yet casual, game played from one's backyard to local carnivals, ACL has sanctioned the sport as an official one for all to see and play. With a fresh, yet first, article talking about it and finally covering all there is going on, despite the craziness going on in the outside world, what's new and what word has the ACL spread within the year? Let's talk about it!

Quite a beefy schedule, filled with competitive bag-throwing thrills, isn't it? Be sure to tune in, whether you're subscribed to cable, streaming and/or ACL's app airing all the competition throughout the season.
Along with the national schedule comes ACL's College Cornhole. Given that college sports is the most popular of all time, with its school spirit and passionate fans around the country, the National College Cornhole Championship (NCCC) will launch starting from December 31, 2021 to January 2, 2022. While the ACL College season has already started, here's their full schedule:
ACL College Tour Schedule
Date | Tournament |
---|---|

September 25, 2021 | |
October 02, 2021 | |
October 09, 2021 | |
October 23, 2021 | LSU vs Ole Miss |
October 30, 2021 | Penn State vs Ohio State |
November 13, 2021 | Duke vs Virginia Tech |
November 20, 2021 | Florida vs Missouri |
November 27, 2021 | Clemson vs South Carolina |
December 04, 2021 | BIG12 Champ Game |
Not a bad scheduling for those who hold their college spirits high. Though since ACL continues to grow their leagues, I'm sure we'll be seeing more college teams compete in the near future.
Another cool discovery, mentioned earlier, is the ACLDN—ACL Digital Network. This is their exclusive streaming service featuring all full-length broadcasts since their live launch in 2017. That's impressive since various replays of games often show the condensed versions, due to time constraints. Perhaps, as someone who's subscribed to both cable and streaming, it's about time that leagues show full, unedited replays of these games as if we're re-living that very moment it aired. Makes for a much better experience. You can choose between their monthly or yearly subscription—monthly goes for $4.99 a month, and their yearly goes for $50. All I can say is I wish other streaming services were this reasonable, but that's another topic of discussion.
Lots of chaos going on in the world, so may as well rest your mind and your soul and enjoy a laid-back competition of cornhole. You'll be glad you did.
Do you, or anyone you know, going to compete in this year's and next year's cornhole competition? Any event(s) you're looking forward to? Have you competed in cornhole before? Let's talk about it in the comments below!
